Short Term Evaluation Services

 

The Abilities Center is pleased to offer Short Term Vocational Evaluation Services.  Typically a three to five (3-5) day, intensive, individualized service, the process is intended to assist the job seeker with vocational goal identification and planning.  Evaluation services are designed to meet individual needs resulting in customized assessment.  Services include the following process:

 

Intake

• Individual, “one on one” appointment with skilled Evaluator

• Review of work history, education, experiences

 

Vocational Assessment

• Interest and aptitude testing

• Work sampling / specific job assessments

• Transferable skills analysis

• Career exploration

 

The Abilities Center utilizes a menu of state-of-the-art vocational assessment tools and techniques that are customized to each individual’s needs and preferences.

 

Career Planning Meeting

• Attended by person served, referral source and Evaluator

• Review of results and findings

• Discussion of targeted goal, employment planning supports, or other identified recommendations
