YOUTH TRANSITION PROGRAM

School to Career (StC) & Extended School Year Programs
Our academic year School-to-Careers (StC) and summer Extended School Year (ESY) programs are ideal for school-referred students ages 14-21. We offer paid daily job sampling opportunities at local businesses, as part of a small group with job coaching support. Career preparation lessons taught weekly are included.

Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS)
Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS) for in school youth ages 14-21 and for out-of-school youth ages 16-24 provide individualized training and work experiences covering WIOA (Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act) required topics for transition aged youth including Job Exploration Counseling, Workplace Readiness Training, Guidance on Post-Secondary Training Options, Instruction in Self-Advocacy, and Work-Based Learning Experiences.

Youth Paid Internship Program
Our Paid Internship program for youth ages 14-21 who are enrolled in secondary or post-secondary school is a great option for work training and independent work experience.
Youth Transition meets all the requirements under WIOA (Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act) for youth: Job Exploration Counseling; Guidance and Counseling on Vocational Training Programs; Workplace Readiness Training, and Instruction in Self-Advocacy. These components are woven into classroom instruction and the work site experiences, making the transition process after graduation smoother and more satisfying.
